When I moved to NYC sixteen years ago, I was finally able to express myself and start to live as the woman I really am. It's a journey that still has many miles to go, but I'm here to share my thoughts, hopes, dreams and confusion. Also you know, some cute pictures too.
Thank you for this enlightening discussion. I am a cross dresser, so for me passing is a matter of safety. Especially living in eastern Washington state - a rather conservative region - a guy in a dress would have some trouble just walking down the street, let alone going shopping or to a movie. Believe me, if I could just put on a dress and some pumps and live my life, I would adore it. But I must present as a woman totally and completely to avoid any trouble.
